Google is set to require all Android devices to introduce users to Quick Share during the setup process, following the lead of Pixel devices.Quick Share, formerly Nearby Share, allows users to share photos, videos, files, and links wirelessly to other nearby Android devices, as well as laptops, tablets using ChromeOS, and a Windows app. The update to Google's terms for OEMs will require devices to integrate Google’s proximity-based device visibility user consent screen, which will allow users to enable or disable Quick Share, as well as setting their privacy preferences.
