According to a new leak, Apple has canceled a project that aimed to produce lower-cost augmented reality glasses after the project failed to meet executive expectations. The device, code-named N107, would have been seen as a more affordable alternative to the Apple Vision Pro. It would have looked like a standard pair of glasses but featured built-in displays and required a persistent tether to a Mac. The cancelation comes after Apple killed off its secretive Apple Car project in February 2024.
