Apple Dominates Golden Globe Nominations with 9 Nods for Best Drama, Performances & More

Apple Originals have scored a total of nine Golden Globe nominations this year, including Best Drama for the darkly funny spy series 'Slow Horses' and Best Limited Series for the acclaimed thriller 'Disclaimer'. Winners will be announced on January 5th.

Apple Originals have secured a total of nine Golden Globe nominations this year, with top category nods including Best Drama for 'Slow Horses' and Best Limited Series for the acclaimed thriller 'Disclaimer'. In addition to these categories, outstanding performance nominations went to Gary Oldman and Jack Lowden for their roles in 'Slow Horses'; Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline for their performances in 'Disclaimer'; Jason Segel and Harrison Ford for their work in 'Shrinking'; and Jake Gyllenhaal for his role in 'Presumed Innocent'. The winners will be announced on January 5, 2025.

Today’s news means that across four programs - Slow Horses, Disclaimer, Shrinking, and Presumed Innocent - Apple TV+ series or films have now secured a total of nine nominations for the forthcoming Golden Globe Awards. These cover the best Television Series Drama category (Slow Horses), and a Limited Series Anthology Motion Picture nod (Disclaimer).

Actors from across all four productions scored outstanding performance recognitions, too; including Oldman for Slow Horses; Blanchett and Kline for their roles in Disclaimer; Segel and Ford as leads and their characters Jimmy and Paul in Shrinking respectively; plus Gyllenhaal for his starring role in Presumed Innocent.

Today’s nominations add to the now more than 3,100 award recognitions that Apple TV+ has secured since its launch in November 2019. To date, it is believed to have picked up more than 800 wins.
