Apple Intelligence Expansion

Apple has announced the expansion of its personal intelligence system, Apple Intelligence, to multiple new languages and regions with the release of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4. This update brings the system to French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (simplified), and localized English for Singapore and India. Additionally, iPhone and iPad users in the EU now have access to Apple Intelligence features.

New Platform: Apple Vision Pro

Apple Intelligence is also debuting on the Apple Vision Pro in U.S. English, offering a range of features such as Writing Tools (including proofreading, rewriting, and summarizing text, and composing from scratch with ChatGPT), Image Playground for visual expression, and Genmoji for creating custom emojis.

  • Priority Notifications: Helps users manage time-sensitive communications.
  • Memory Movies on Mac: Users can create memory movies by typing a description.
  • New Sketch Style in Image Playground: Generates academic and highly detailed sketches.

Privacy Focus

Apple emphasizes the privacy of its AI system, with on-device processing and Private Cloud Compute for secure cloud access to larger models.
