The update was specifically designed for creators and audiophiles using Vision Pro or Logic Pro on iPad and Mac. However, the firmware has disappeared from Apple's rollout schedule as of April 2, reportedly due to a bug in iOS 18.4 that prevents it from installing correctly. Users are now facing issues with devices failing to update or remaining stuck on earlier versions. Until Apple re-releases the update or fixes the iOS bug, USB-C AirPods Max owners will have to wait for these new features.
