Apple is planning to add support for setting default navigation and translation apps on iPhones in the EU by spring 2025, as part of its compliance with the DMA (Digital Markets Act). This means users will be able to set Google Maps as their default navigation app. The features are expected to launch with iOS 18.4 in April.
