Apple to Launch Smart Home Camera in 2026 with Advanced AI Features

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that Apple plans to release its own smart home camera in 2026, competing with third-party HomeKit cameras for the first time. The camera is expected to have annual shipments in the tens of millions and will feature rich integration with Siri and AI capabilities. This move is part of Apple's larger strategy to expand into the smart home space, following the release of a new smart display device next year that combines a speaker with a touchscreen interface for kitchen use. Two years later, Apple plans to release an even more advanced display on a robotic arm.
