According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the next-generation Apple Watch SE's rumored plastic design is facing significant challenges and may not proceed as planned. Design teams are unhappy with its appearance, while production costs are not significantly lower than those of the existing aluminum models. Despite these hurdles, a refresh for the Apple Watch SE is expected within six months. Additionally, Gurman confirms that the upcoming Apple Watch Ultra will feature satellite texting and 5G connectivity.
