Apple's AirPods Pro 2 Set to Transform Hearing Aid Market in the UK

Apple has announced that it will introduce hearing aid features for AirPods Pro 2 users in the UK following recent government regulatory changes. The Hearing Health update, launched in the US in late 2024, includes a home hearing test to determine if users would benefit from hearing aids, and the ability to use AirPods Pro 2 to mitigate mild to moderate hearing loss based on test results. Users can also upload audiograms from professionals. Additionally, the Loud Sound Reduction feature automatically decreases the impact of noisy environments when the earbuds are in use.
