Apple's Exclusive 'University' Event: Empowering Student Creators with Tech and Inspiration
Inside Apple's Invite-Only 'University' Event for Student Creators
Apple hosted an invite-only event called 'Apple University' in March for student influencers to showcase how its products can aid both education and content creation. The one-day experience, structured like a typical school day, included classes focused on workflow optimization and new skills.
Heaven Marley, one of the selected students, shared her experiences with People. She initially thought the invitation was spam but eventually attended and received a brand new MacBook Air before the event. Classes covered topics such as customizing the MacBook, using Final Cut Pro for video editing, exploring Apple's whiteboard app Freeform, and learning about brand marketing.
Heaven praised the warm and welcoming staff and enjoyed meeting fellow student content creators. She emphasized the value of making time for one's dreams, even if it means sacrificing some leisure activities.
