He stated that the company has no interest in producing AGI, as it seems unrealistic and almost frivolous. According to Giannandrea, the idea of scaling up current technologies to achieve AGI is very naive. While Apple may be involved in important breakthroughs related to AGI, their focus remains on improving user-facing products.
