Arm has escalated its dispute with Qualcomm by canceling the company's license to use its instruction set for designing chips, according to a report from Bloomberg. If not resolved within a 60-day notice period, Qualcomm could be forced to stop selling products or face claims for massive damages. The dispute stems from Arm's purchase of chip-design startup Nuvia in 2022, with Qualcomm arguing that its existing agreement covers the activities of the company it purchased.
