Chrome's New Fortification: Locking Session Tokens to Your Hardware
Chrome is introducing a powerful new security feature known as Device-Bound Session Credentials (DBSC). This technology aims to eliminate session hijacking by cryptographically binding authentication tokens to a specific piece of hardware. Even if a malicious actor steals a user's session cookie, they will be unable to use it on a different machine, effectively neutralizing one of the most common methods used in account takeovers today.
