Apple is releasing macOS Sequoia 15.2, a new software update for Macs that brings a range of new features and improvements. The update can be installed by opening the System Settings app, going to General, selecting Software Update, and downloading it. macOS 15.2 is available for all users who could install the original macOS Sequoia and subsequent updates, with no new compatibility requirements. However, some features will only be available on Macs with an M1 chip or later.

The update introduces four new Apple Intelligence features and various upgrades to apps like Safari, Photos, Find My, and more. These include a new Image Playground app for creating original images, ChatGPT integration with Siri, the ability to compose original text using ChatGPT, AI rewrite feature prompts, the addition of weather to the Menu Bar, new controls in a ‘presenter preview’ when connecting to an external display, and the ability to share an item’s location with third parties via Find My. The update also brings enhancements to the Photos app, upgrades to Safari, natural language search in Music and TV, and more.

Overall, macOS 15.2 is a significant update for the Mac that delivers many of the announced Apple Intelligence features for the platform.
