Fitbit Revamps Weight Stats Page and Prepares 'Sleep Lab' with LLM Integration

Fitbit redesigns Weight stats page, preps LLM 'Sleep Lab' and logging
By Blip Tech 1 min read

Fitbit has redesigned the Weight stats page and logging experience in its app, making it consistent with other stats pages. The update includes a new "Day" tab and a carousel for viewing weight data. Additionally, Google is working on a new experimental feature called Sleep Lab which will analyze users' sleep patterns and behaviors using large language models (LLMs). This Sleep Lab feature will be initially tested on an opt-in basis before a wider launch, likely requiring Fitbit Premium subscription. It will involve a daily sleep journal to reflect and track progress with the aim of providing personalized suggestions for better sleep.
