Google Chat has introduced a new design tweak to its floating bottom bar, making it fit better with Material You. The previous circle-shaped component has been replaced by a pill-shaped tab indicator, resulting in a wider bar. Though this new design shows less information, it aligns more closely with other Material 3 bottom bars. The container background now also features Dynamic Color.
