Google Gemini Advanced: New Feature Recalls Past Chats for Tailored Assistance

Google has introduced a new feature for Gemini Advanced subscribers that allows the AI to recall and reference past conversations, enhancing personalized assistance without users having to manually find previous chats. This update enables Gemini to summarize prior discussions, follow up on previously discussed topics, and build upon ongoing projects. The AI will indicate when it uses past chats in its responses. Initially available in English for Gemini Advanced members via Google One AI Premium on web and mobile, the feature will roll out to additional languages and Google Workspace Business/Enterprise users soon. This enhancement builds upon the Saved info feature introduced in November, allowing users to set preferences such as dietary restrictions or programming language requirements.
