Google Messages tests giving Magic Compose a more prominent position
Google Messages is testing a new design for the Magic Compose button, moving it out of the text field row and into the smart replies area. This change aims to give the feature greater visibility as users type messages. The button now adopts different icons depending on context - initially appearing as a message bubble with a sparkle icon, then changing to a pencil with sparkle when text is entered into the compose field. This updated design declutters the interface for easier usage.
