Pollen Tracker Rolls Out in the US

Google has extended its Pixel Weather’s pollen tracker to users in the United States, following initial launches in several European countries and Japan. The new feature appears as a large pill-shaped card at the bottom of the city view, spanning the full width of the screen alongside other forecast cards like Hourly and 10-day forecasts.

The Pollen card displays color-coded gauges for Grass, Tree, and Weed pollen levels on a scale from 0 to 4. Users can drag this card to the top of the screen if they find it particularly useful. Tapping the card opens a fullscreen interface with detailed five-day forecasts, defaulting to Grass.

The rollout is server-side, meaning not all Pixel devices will immediately see the update. However, when available, the card will be accessible for any US location. For those eager to try it out, they can preview the feature by opening cities in one of the previously supported countries.
