Google Vids is now generally available for Google Workspace tiers, joining other apps like Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs/Sheets/Slides, Chat, and Meet. It is designed to help teams create more engaging stories at work through video without needing video skills. Use cases include customer service support, company-wide updates and announcements, employee training and education, campaign and event recaps, and meeting and business updates. Gemini generates a fully editable initial storyboard based on a prompt and document from Google Drive. Google Vids will then insert stock videos, images, and background music, provide a suggested script for AI voice or self-recording, allow for group collaboration, and is web-based.
