Apple Music for Windows Supports Dolby Atmos Audio

Apple has released a significant update to the Apple Music app for Windows, enabling support for Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos. This feature provides an immersive, three-dimensional audio experience on compatible headphones and speakers.

To use this feature, ensure you have the latest version of the Apple Music app from the Microsoft Store, and install the Dolby Access app. The Dolby Access app is free for external speakers but costs $14.99 for headphone support.

Apple Music subscribers can enable Dolby Atmos playback in the app settings after installing these updates. This update is part of Apple's ongoing efforts to enhance its music service on Windows, which also includes the launch of the Apple TV app and the Apple Devices app for backing up and restoring iOS devices.
