Apple has confirmed that iOS 18.2 with new Apple Intelligence features will launch to everyone in December. Here are the key details:

  • iOS 18.1 launched today bringing the first phase of AI capabilities: Writing Tools, Clean Up, and more.
  • Last week, Apple started beta testing iOS 18.2 with various other Apple Intelligence upgrades, scheduled for December release to customers.

iOS 18.2 AI Upgrades:

  2. Genmoji: Custom emoji creation based on text input.
  3. ChatGPT Integration with Siri
  4. Addition of “Compose” and “Describe your change” to Writing Tools

Apple also plans more regional rollouts for these AI features during the same month, with additional updates scheduled throughout the coming months.
