The new Mac Studio with M3 Ultra processor has demonstrated significant performance improvements over its predecessor, the M2 Ultra, according to initial benchmarks. Geekbench scores show a 16% increase in single-core performance and a 30% boost in multi-core performance. The Metal GPU benchmark also indicates a 17% improvement. In comparison to the M4 Max processor, the M3 Ultra outperforms it by about 7.8% in multi-core tests but lags behind by 22% in single-core tests. When compared to the M3 Max, the M3 Ultra is around 66% faster in GPU performance and 33.5% better in multi-core scores.
