Apple has released macOS Sequoia 15.2 beta 2 for developers. The new update includes forthcoming Apple Intelligence features that are set for a December public release. It also, notably, is available for all Macs that can run macOS Sequoia—beta 1 was only for M-series devices.

The first developer beta of macOS Sequoia 15.2 arrived two weeks ago, shortly before macOS 15.1 launched to the public.

15.2 is a big release with some of the most highly anticipated Apple Intelligence features to date. For example:

  • ChatGPT is now fully integrated with Siri
  • Image Playground lets you create original AI images
  • Writing tools let you describe specific changes you want made
  • You can also use ChatGPT to create original text as part of writing tools Beta 1 notably did not include Genmoji yet, even though the companion iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 releases did include the feature. Hopefully today’s beta 2 remedies that and offers Genmoji support.
