March 2025 Feature Drop for Pixel Watch
- Improved Step Tracking: All Pixel Watch models now feature a more accurate algorithm that better recognizes various activities such as jogging with a stroller, pushing a shopping cart, or hiking with poles.
- Menstrual Health on Pixel Watch 3: On-device menstrual tracking is added, allowing users to log periods, view cycle status, and predict the next period.
- Loss of Pulse Detection in the US: Following FDA approval, the Pixel Watch 3 will detect when your heart stops due to conditions like cardiac arrest or overdose. It will call emergency services if you don’t acknowledge a warning message.
- Auto Bedtime Mode for Pixel Watch 2: This feature automatically detects when you've fallen asleep, turning off the watch face and disabling notifications to conserve battery life. It re-enables upon waking up.
- Enhanced Audio Control: New actions allow users to fast forward, rewind, adjust playback speed, or control the playback queue on their Pixel Watch.
