A new Chromecast with Google TV update is rolling out, following the first Google TV Streamer patch last week. The STTL.240812.006.N1 update keeps the Android security patch level at September 2024 and is still on Android 12. At 59.48 MB, it's smaller than the previous update and includes "Other bug fixes and performance improvements." This is the eighth Chromecast with Google TV update in 11 months.
