Nvidia Unleashes New Shield TV Update: Key Fixes Inside

Nvidia has rolled out a new hotfix update for the Shield TV, version 33.2.0.322, which is designed to address several issues following the release of Shield Experience 9.2 earlier this year. This update includes fixes for content stuttering in Dolby Vision, problems with Plex when using AAC 5.1 audio, and other minor issues. The full list of fixes also addresses night mode skipping, USB DAC audio resolution matching, HQS/Maxrate options for USB audio, and a USB TV Tuner fix with the Live Channel app. This update is not yet available to all users; Shield TV owners must manually sign up to install it, and there is no rollback process.
