Pixel Pro Phones and Tablet: 'Hold Close to Cast' Feature Rolls Out

Google has rolled out 'Hold close to cast,' or tap to cast, between Pixel Pro phones and the Pixel Tablet following its announcement in the October Pixel (Feature) Drop. This feature allows users with a compatible Pixel phone to easily transfer media playback to their Pixel Tablet by holding the devices close together. However, it requires specific hardware including a Pixel Pro phone and a docked Pixel Tablet on the same private Wi-Fi network.
