A recent update rolling out for Samsung Galaxy devices in November 2024 may prevent Android Auto from working due to changes in the 'Auto Blocker' feature. The feature now blocks all USB connections except for charging, which prevents Android Auto from functioning on devices with the feature enabled. However, this can be fixed by disabling 'Maximum restrictions' within the Auto Blocker settings under Security and privacy. Wireless adapters like AAWireless and Motorola MA1 are alternative options for users who want to continue using 'Maximum restrictions' while still being able to use Android Auto.
