Samsung Good Lock Now Available via the Play Store with Global Launch

  • Release and Availability: As of April 10, 2025, Samsung has officially released its redesigned Good Lock customization app to the Google Play Store. The app is now generally available for Galaxy devices running One UI 7 or higher.
  • Design Update: The new Good Lock app features a major design overhaul aligned with One UI 7, enhancing user experience and compatibility.
  • Global Expansion: While the app's listing on the Play Store initially showed it as compatible only with certain devices like the Galaxy S25 Ultra, users have managed to install it on other Galaxy models, including the S24 series. SamMobile reports that Good Lock is now available in previously unsupported regions, such as Romania, indicating the start of a global rollout.
  • Compatibility Issues: Despite the broader availability, some devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 are still blocked from installing the app. Additionally, Samsung has temporarily halted the rollout of One UI 7 on older Galaxy devices, which is required to use the new version of Good Lock.
