Samsung is rolling out its final update of 2024 for Galaxy devices, with a focus on security enhancements but no major new features or One UI 7. The update includes nearly 30 "high" priority patches and one "critical" patch. CVE-2024-38408 relates back to Qualcomm chipsets and is also included in the December 2024 security patch for other Android devices. Samsung has confirmed that One UI 7 will not be fully released until 2025. The beta program is open now, with two beta updates released so far.
