Samsung's Chipset Choices for Upcoming Foldables
Samsung is reportedly planning to equip the Galaxy Z Flip 7 with its in-house Exynos 2500 chipset, while using a Snapdragon chip in the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Initial plans were to use Exynos, but issues led to considering Qualcomm’s Snapdragon. However, due to improved yields and cost considerations, Samsung is reverting to its original plan.

- Cost Concerns: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip costs over 20% more, which the Galaxy Z Flip 7 cannot absorb without affecting its price point.
