Shazam now supports Music Haptics

Shazam music recognition app now supports Apple Music Haptics in iOS 18.

Shazam has released an update integrating Music Haptics, an accessibility feature that uses the iPhone's Taptic Engine to vibrate in time and intensity with music playback. The feature, which was released alongside iOS 18, is available with Apple Music, Apple Music Classical, and Shazam. It can be enabled via the Accessibility section in Settings. To enable Music Haptics, users can open Settings, tap Accessibility, and toggle on Music Haptics. Apple acquired Shazam in 2018 and has integrated it across its ecosystem, allowing users to use Shazam via Siri or the Control Center to identify music. An optional button for Music Recognition can also be added to the Control Center for quick music identification.
