Apple has released a significant update (version 18.9) for Shazam, enhancing its integration with Apple Music and Spotify. The new features include:
- Improved Syncing: Songs tagged outside the app via Control Centre, Siri, or Shortcuts will now be automatically added to the 'My Shazam Tracks' playlist in both Apple Music and Spotify.
- Re-sync Option: Users can re-sync all previously discovered songs by toggling the 'Sync your songs' setting off and on in the Shazam app settings.
- iCloud Sync: Ensuring that Shazam history remains synchronized across devices, users are advised to turn on iCloud sync in the app settings.
