A 70-year-old man, Daniel Vallaire from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, credits Siri with saving his life after a stroke left him immobile and alone for nearly three days in July. Vallaire managed to crawl from the bathroom to the living room over two days, going in and out of consciousness, before he was able to use Siri to call his daughter who had recently moved to California. Thanks to this, first responders were alerted, and he received the necessary medical help. Vallaire has since reunited with the medical crew that assisted him, and his daughter has returned to Florida. The article also mentions some additional features of Apple's devices like the Apple Watch, including fall detection and AFib detection.
