YouTube TV Secures Paramount Deal: CBS, Nickelodeon Remain on Board

YouTube TV secures a last-minute deal with Paramount to retain CBS, Nickelodeon, and more, ensuring no loss of channels for subscribers.

YouTube TV Agreement with Paramount Saves CBS, Nickelodeon, and Other Channels

YouTube TV has successfully reached a deal with Paramount, ensuring that key channels such as CBS, CBS Sports, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, CMT, and others will remain available to subscribers. The agreement was announced on February 15, 2025, after initial warnings on February 12 indicated potential channel losses due to failed negotiations.

In a Twitter/X post, YouTube TV confirmed that the channels and add-ons will 'remain uninterrupted.' A support forum notice also stated that the deal ensures continued access to over 100 channels, including Paramount+ content. The company thanked subscribers for their patience during the negotiation process and noted that they were prepared to offer credits if the channels had been unavailable for an extended period.

The announcement comes shortly after YouTube TV's recent price hike, with the base plan now costing $82.99 per month as of January 2025.
