The iOS 18.1 update introduces support for the RCS messaging feature in Business Messaging and fixes an issue affecting devices in the iPhone 16 range. The release candidate version was made available to developers, ahead of the public launch on October 28. In addition to resolving various issues, the update enhances the existing Business Messaging feature by adding RCS protocol support, enabling improved communication with Android devices.
