AirPods Max: The Neglected Child of Apple's Audio Family

AirPods Max hold a unique status among Apple products due to their lack of investment from Apple and being outperformed by cheaper sibling products like AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4. Despite their high price tag, they lack many features offered by the less expensive in-ear AirPod options. While other niche Apple products still receive semi-regular updates or have a solid feature set, AirPods Max lag behind. It seems that adding modern AirPods features to AirPods Max could help alleviate some of these issues.
