Rumors suggest Apple's AirTag could see a refresh in 2025 with long-range tracking capabilities and other improvements

Apple's AirTag, a location tracking device, is rumored to be getting a refresh soon. Since its launch, the AirTag has proven useful for tracking down stolen property and finding lost luggage. The second-generation model is expected to have an upgraded wireless chip for longer range, louder speaker, longer battery life, and possibly a version designed for wallets. The updated AirTag may also support Apple's Vision Pro spatial computing platform.
