An AirTag led to the capture of a young man who stole 60 presidential campaign yard signs in Springfield, MO. The AirTag was placed with a Harris/Walz sign by Laura McCaskill and her partner John.

An AirTag was used to track down someone stealing presidential campaign yard signs in Springfield, MO. The stolen signs were tracked to a car containing around 60 signs. Police investigation is ongoing and no formal charges have been filed yet. The owner of the stolen sign included an AirTag with their sign and managed to reclaim it. AirTags have previously been used to locate stolen cars and mail.
