AirTags 2: Enhanced Location Tracking in 2025
Next-generation Apple AirTags will feature improved range and location tracking in 2025 update

Apple's AirTags are expected to receive their first-ever hardware update in 2025, with improvements to location tracking accuracy and range. The updated model, codenamed B589, is currently in the manufacturing test phase and will likely be released mid-2025. While the exterior appearance will remain the same, a new chip for better location tracking and longer range is expected to be included. Additionally, an interior design modification aims to make the speaker more difficult to remove, preventing potential misuse.
