Amazon Unveils Alexa+: The Smartest AI-Enhanced Voice Assistant Yet

Amazon's 'Alexa+' is a new AI-powered upgrade for Alexa, offering enhanced conversational abilities, personalization, and smarter task management. The update allows users to create voice-activated Routines, control music playback across rooms, skip scenes in Fire TV movies, and use Ring cameras for event summaries. Notably, Alexa+ can remember the content of uploaded documents (like recipes) and emails, answering questions about them later. Additional features include generating stories, booking dinners or rides, and providing local service recommendations. Available as a paid subscription at $19.99/month (free with Amazon Prime), Alexa+ will first roll out to Echo Show devices in the US before expanding to all users.
