A bug in the stable release of Android 15 QPR1 on Pixel devices flips the light and dark Themed icons, displaying dark variants with the system light theme and light icons with the system dark theme. A simple fix involves switching to a different Dynamic Color theme and then returning to your preferred one.

A bug in the stable release of Android 15 QPR1 on Pixel devices flips the light and dark Themed icons. With the system light theme, the dark variants of themed icons are displayed. When the system dark theme is enabled, you get light themed icons. There is a fix where you just switch to a different Dynamic Color theme (and then return to your preferred one). It’s expected that Google will address this issue with Android 15 QPR1’s January security patch.
