With Android 15 QPR2 Beta 1, Google is revamping the Do Not Disturb feature with customizable 'Modes'. These modes allow users to minimize distractions and control their attention for various scenarios such as sleep, work, driving, etc. The new system includes existing modes like Bedtime, Game Dashboard, Google, and Pixel Stand, which can be found in a new high-level Settings app > Modes menu. Users can create custom modes by naming them, choosing icons, setting schedules, selecting notification filters, and adjusting display settings. These modes can be quickly selected from Quick Settings, and the chosen mode icon will appear in the status bar and on the lock screen. The feature is expected to launch with Android 15 QPR2 in March.
