Android 16 is reportedly codenamed 'baklava' internally at Google, even though the company no longer uses dessert names for public releases. This naming convention remains in place for internal development purposes. The adoption of 'baklava,' which doesn't follow the expected alphabetical order, could be related to changes Google made in build IDs starting with Android 14 QPR2.
