Android 16 Easter Egg Takes Flight with Autopilot Mode and Live Updates

Android 16's Updated Easter Egg Adds 'Autopilot' with Live Updates
Android 16 continues the tradition of the space-themed Easter egg, first introduced in Android 14 and carried over to Android 15. The Easter egg features a spaceship that users can control by dragging their finger on the touchscreen to adjust direction and speed. Landing on planets allows you to plant flags.
In Android 16 Beta 3, Google has added an 'autopilot' mode, which automatically navigates the ship to find planets. Users can monitor progress through notifications using the new Live Updates feature. The Live Updates are still under development, so the Easter egg may see further changes before the final release.
Although the core gameplay remains similar to previous versions, the addition of autopilot and Live Updates adds a fresh twist. Other notable features in Android 16 Beta 3 include a new way to close apps, Pixel Battery health monitoring, and more.
