Android's Take on Dynamic Island: Rich Ongoing Notifications in the Works
Android may be getting a feature similar to iPhone's Dynamic Island in the form of 'Rich Ongoing Notifications', which would make it easier for users to keep track of ongoing processes like rideshares or food deliveries.

Android may be getting something similar soon in what’s being called “Rich Ongoing Notifications.” The API would let apps present more information about ongoing activities more efficiently than before.
