Android's Take on Dynamic Island: Rich Ongoing Notifications in the Works
Android may be getting a feature similar to iPhone's Dynamic Island in the form of 'Rich Ongoing Notifications', which would make it easier for users to keep track of ongoing processes like rideshares or food deliveries.

Apple's Dynamic Island is a clever way to hide the camera cutout on its latest iPhones, but it also makes Live Activities from apps easier to keep track of. Android may be getting something similar soon in what’s being called “Rich Ongoing Notifications.” The API would let apps present more information about ongoing activities more efficiently than before.
