Apple adds nine Macs to its obsolete devices list
The first MacBook Pro with Touch Bar is now considered an obsolete device by Apple. In total, nine Macs from 2015 and 2016 have been added to the obsolete list, meaning that Apple will no longer service them. However, three other Mac models from 2017 and 2018 have been moved to the vintage list, giving owners a two-year window to get any necessary repairs done. The outdated Mac models include MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and iMac, all of which are Intel-based and do not feature Apple's newer Silicon chips, which bring significant speed improvements.
