Apple confirms expanded language support for Apple Intelligence coming in April 2025

Apple has confirmed that it will expand language support for its Apple Intelligence tools in April 2025, following the release of iOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1 with the first set of these AI features. Initially only available in English, with iOS 18.2 (currently in beta), support will be expanded to localized versions of English for Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK. In April, Apple Intelligence will also work in Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, and more, which will come via a free software update.
