Apple Discontinues Lightning to Headphone Jack Adapter

The reign of the Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter has ended: after eight years, it appears that Apple has discontinued this vital iPhone accessory.

Apple appears to have discontinued the Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter, which was introduced with the iPhone 7 in 2016. The adapter allowed users to connect wired headphones to iPhones without a headphone jack. Although not officially announced by Apple, the adapter is listed as sold out on most online Apple Stores. It can still be ordered from some countries like France and Sweden.
